Light and patchy winds at the North American Championship
Only one race was achieved by the PRO Scott Munro. After a delay onshore until 1300hs boats were towed to the race course advancing against the current . The Race had 0.8 mile and wind went from 4 to 8 knots, the first boat made the course in 1hr and 8 min and the last boat in 1hr and 15 min.

The start quite difficult due to the current made several boats fail to be in the first line, a pack chose to go right and the others to the left from the beginning, on the left more wind, but also more current, the downwind was also tricky finding the right angles and where to go in the wind patches.

CAN 225 with Peter Hall, William Abbott and Ross Findlater managed the bullet defending the position against CAN 1 with Bill Abbott, Paul Davis and Joanne Abbott, in third came CAN 230 with Thomas Fogh, Roger Cheer and Gord Devries.

After the race Solings managed to come back using the current and preparing themselves for the official Dinner at the SYC.

Tomorrow start was scheduled for 1000 am with the intentions to finish the two missing races, with a better forecast with winds from 10 to 15 knots from the South, a complete different equation sailing against the current with the spinnaker.
